Halyk has enhanced its auto cash register services for entrepreneurs.

Since last year, the central bank of Kazakhstan has launched a large-scale project to replace self-service kiosks in branches and offices across the country. The new devices have not only represented a technological upgrade but also a significant step towards creating a more convenient and reliable service for Onlinebank, a platform for entrepreneurs offered by Halyk.

“We aim to make our services as convenient and fast as possible. With the new devices, clients can instantly deposit or withdraw funds from their accounts. The self-service kiosks operate without queues and make it easy to top up accounts or withdraw cash. We are confident that these changes will make the customer journey simpler and more enjoyable,” said Ermek Zholmagambetov, the director of the service and sales department of the SME block, about the project's significance.

Entrepreneurs can withdraw funds using a QR code, eliminating the need to fill out a cash order. Additionally, applications can be submitted through Onlinebank for legal entities, freeing clients from the necessity of visiting a branch. Halyk representatives genuinely believe that the bank's clients will gain new opportunities and experience a difference in speed and convenience.

“The devices have enhanced fault tolerance, ensuring their uninterrupted operation even during peak hours. The improved software minimizes the risks of failures and simplifies maintenance. Moreover, the advanced architecture allows for quicker transaction processing and makes the entire process more comfortable,” explains Svetlana Ishanova, the director of the operational department at Halyk, regarding the reliability of the devices.

As a reminder, by the end of September 2024, Halyk holds the first place in the share of deposits from legal entities among all second-tier banks (including term deposits and current accounts). In July of last year, the Onlinebank application from Halyk became the leader among mobile banking services for businesses in Kazakhstan, according to the Business Mobile Banking 2024 research conducted by the reputable information and analytical agency SME Banking Agency.
