In 2025, Kazakhstan will see the release of 10 new domestic films.

Film projects will be showcased in the cinemas of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the National Cinema Support Center, reports Kazpravda.kz.

These films are set to capture the audience's attention with their unique and captivating stories, which promise to leave a lasting impression.

One of the most anticipated projects is "Captain Baytasov," directed by Dauren Kamshibaev. The script was actively developed with the involvement of the hero's son, Armanzhan Abdieko. This film will be a significant contribution to the history of domestic cinema, celebrating the courage and selflessness of a hero whose deeds will forever remain in the memory of the people.

This year, viewers will also have the opportunity to enjoy a number of other intriguing film projects, including the drama "Gamer," which addresses the issue of gambling addiction, the sports drama about football "90+1," and films like "Autumn Breeze," "Fake Arman," "Qaitadan," "Tezek," "Qara Qyz," "Altyn Adam," "Fragrant Heart," and "Abel."

New films set to be presented in 2025 will incorporate ideas that can positively influence the upbringing of future generations and encourage viewers to engage in deep reflection.

Additionally, a competition for film projects will be announced in early March. The priority themes for new films will include important issues such as love for the homeland, ecology, and hard work.
