The Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has included Kazakh singer Zhandauren Ablaev, known by his stage name Jazzdauren, on the list of persona non grata, reports Kazpravda.kz
On March 9, the performer of the popular hits "Darite zhenshchinam tsvety" and "Pesni na kassete" was scheduled to perform in Daugavpils.
Without providing any reasons, the artist was denied entry to the European country based on part 2 of Article 61 of the Immigration Law. This decision was initiated by Latvia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže. This information came to light through a post on social media X.
