The State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Abilkhan Kasteev has opened an international exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the International Independent Women's Fund of Artists "Tan Sholpan," reports Kazpravda.kz with reference to the Ministry of Culture.
The exhibition features over 100 works by artists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Austria, Germany, Canada, and the USA.
This international project unites more than 70 artists with higher artistic education, working in various art forms: painting, graphics, decorative and applied arts, and sculpture.
The "Tan Sholpan" Fund is the only organization in Kazakhstan that brings together women artists, with the goal of promoting art as a whole. Their philosophy of life is a love for art and creativity, which allows them to express their individuality.
The exhibition will run until February 9.
