The NAO "Fund Otandastar" and the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan have announced the acceptance of applications for the international competition "Ұлы Дала," reports Kazpravda.kz citing Qazaqculture.com.
This initiative aims to promote and popularize the Kazakh language, traditions, and culture among ethnic Kazakhs living abroad.
As a result of the competition, a collection of artistic works and scientific research dedicated to the history of migration and the life journeys of Kazakhs abroad, their daily lives, traditions, literature, and art will be published.
Applications and works will be accepted until May 1, 2025.
The works of the competition winners and the published books will be donated to major libraries and scientific-cultural centers in Kazakhstan.
Electronic versions of the books will be available on the websites of the "Fund Otandastar" and the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan.
