Bayan Alaguzova took to social media to encourage talented young women to pursue their dreams of performing on the big stage.
“This is not just a project; it’s an opportunity to make a name for yourself, to showcase your culture, and to honor your heritage. We are looking for those who take pride in who they are, who are ready not only to sing but also to inspire. Don’t be afraid to be unique. Don’t be afraid to be bold. This project is for those who are willing to go all the way, who have big goals ahead of them and are ready to work hard to achieve them. Applications are open! If you feel this moment is yours, don’t wait. Take a step forward. The world of music is waiting for you,” she wrote.
In response, followers immediately flooded her with questions regarding the selection criteria for the new group of soloists.
“What kind of discrimination is this? What about women aged 35+ with children, husbands, and no singing or musical talent? Where is your tolerance?”, “Is it not allowed for those from Kyrgyzstan?”, “When will there be a boy band?”, “Oh, I was alone back then, too bad it can’t happen without a sponsor,” “Is it mandatory to be able to sing, does rap not count?”, “Bayan Maksatkyzy and Yerbolat Bedelkhan, wow, that’s impressive. Good luck with the new project, may the stars come,” read the comments.
Let us remind you that earlier, Kazakh producer Bayan Alaguzova shared a post on her Instagram page about being a mother of infants at 50 years old.
