It is noted that Peggy was recognized as the "Best in the World" for her acting performance in the film "Deadpool and Wolverine," where she starred alongside Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
As for her breed, the English dog is a mix of a pug and a Chinese crested. Initially, the dog named Peggy became a celebrity in her home country before serendipitously appearing in one of the year's highest-grossing films. This was all due to the attention she received in Hollywood.
Peggy was cast in the role of Dogpool—the pet of the main character in "Deadpool and Wolverine." According to her owner, Holly Middleton, during her time in the big screen, the typically "reserved and lazy" family favorite gained "a bit of confidence," thanks to working with a trainer assigned to look after her during filming.
In 2023, Peggy won another contest in Britain, where she was awarded the title of "Ugliest Dog."
