The exhibition is dedicated to the upcoming celebration of Nauryz and the 25th anniversary of the "Aul" party.
"Awakening of Spring" is not just about the season but also about the love for the homeland – the aul and its people, who are wholeheartedly devoted to their land. The intimate exhibition showcases the paintings of capital city artists. Each artist expresses their unique perspective on the theme of spring, utilizing their own means of artistic expression.
Attending the vernissage were deputies from the "Aul" party faction in the Mazhilis of Parliament, led by party chairman Serik Egizbaev.
All five artists participating in the exhibition – Toleugazy Baigaliyev, Bakytnur Burdesbekov, Adilgali Bayandin, Tabyn Kylisbay, and Renat Yelubay – are well-known in the art world, and their works have already garnered deserved recognition from the people of Kazakhstan.
For instance, at the international competition "ArtExpo New York-2011," Toleugazy Baigaliyev's work won a gold medal. The artist is a laureate of the "Patriot of the Year" contest in the "Art of the Republic of Kazakhstan" category. Toleugazy Baigaliyev paints landscapes and depicts significant historical events in his works. Almost all of his pieces are dedicated to national history and culture. By describing the beautiful nature of his homeland, he manages to showcase sacred places for Kazakhs, where Abai Kunanbaev, Shakarim Kudayberdyuly, and Mukhtar Auezov were born. The artist himself notes that he loves clarity in his paintings, and his favorite painters are Levitan and Gritsai.
Equally intriguing to viewers were the works of Tabyn Kylisbay and Bakytnur Burdesbekov, participants in both Kazakhstani and Russian art exhibitions. Their works are housed in museum collections across our country as well as in private collections in the USA and Europe.
Renat Yelubay is a participant in art exhibitions and symposiums in Kazakhstan and Russia, an illustrator, a laureate of the International Creative Youth Festival "Shabyt," and a holder of a gold medal from the New York Realism Fine Art Exhibition in the USA.
Adilgali Bayandin is also a participant in Kazakhstani and Russian art exhibitions, competitions, and symposiums, as well as an illustrator for books and projects related to the mazars of Kottibar-batyr and Bekkuła auliye.
According to visitors, each artist has their own vision of spring – a time of love and renewal, yet all the paintings share the warmth of the native land.
– Since I was born and raised in the aul, this theme is close to me, – shares Adilgali Bayandin. – Through my works, one can trace the history of the ancient and beautiful holiday Nauryz: from the bright and colorful festivities across vast steppe expanses to its integration into urban life. The external attributes may vary, but all the works are united by love for the native land, for the people who work and create on it today, and by faith in a worthy and bright tomorrow.
