The website of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) highlighted the victories of Kazakh boxing brothers Nurbek and Aibek Oralbai at the start of the "Strandzha Cup - 2025 in Sofia (Bulgaria)," which is also referred to as a mini-world championship, reports Sports.kz.
“The most decorated member of the Kazakhstan national team, Nurbek Oralbai, moved up to the heavyweight division (86 kg) and kicked off his campaign with a powerful performance against Bulgarian Manuel Zhechev. The referee stopped the fight in the third round.”
“Current ASBC Asian champion in the super heavyweight category (+92 kg) from Kazakhstan, Aibek Oralbai, showcased his strength in the first round against Pakistani Tahir Abdul Wahab, prompting the referee to stop the bout immediately,” ASBC writes.
