The official weigh-in for the main participants of tomorrow's boxing evening has just taken place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), where the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division, Russian Artur Beterbiev, will face off for the second time against former world champion in this division, his compatriot Dmitry Bivol, reports Sports.kz citing Championat.com.

Beterbiev weighed in at 79.37 kg, while Bivol tipped the scales at exactly 79 kg.

The previous match between Bivol and Beterbiev occurred in October 2024, where Beterbiev won by a majority decision, becoming the first undisputed champion in this weight class during the era of four belts.

We had only five foreign players in key positions: a goalkeeper, a central defender, and a defensive midfielder, who simply do not exist in Kazakhstan; there are no players at the level of the Kazakhstan Premier League. Those who are available play for elite Kazakh clubs. Essentially, half of our team should be playing for the youth squad, but they are playing for us, and how all this will turn out is not entirely clear and raises concerns.
