The department requests drivers and vehicle owners to consider this information when planning their routes.
As a reminder, last year the head of state, speaking in Almaty, described the situation regarding road quality in Kazakhstan as dire.
" People justifiably complain about the poor quality of road surfaces. The reasons for this situation are varied, but the main one is corruption," said Tokayev.
He emphasized the need to enhance control over the use of highways and impose fines for overloaded heavy trucks that operate on them.
Subsequently, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan identified the primary cause of road wear in the country—according to the department, roads are being destroyed by dump trucks and other heavy vehicles.
Last summer, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Maksat Kaliakparov, discussed plans to increase fines for heavy trucks that travel on the country's roads and damage them.
In the autumn, the Ministry of Transport approved parameters for oversized vehicles in Kazakhstan.
