According to the ministry, the March UNT will include:
The department reminds that during the UNT, the testing program will have available a calculator, the periodic table of chemical elements (Mendeleev's table), and a solubility table for salts.
Applicants can submit appeals within 30 minutes after the completion of testing. The certificate will be available in the test-taker's personal account after the appeal decision is made.
The number of subjects in the UNT remains the same – three mandatory and two elective. The total number of tasks for the UNT is 120.
The maximum score also remains unchanged – 140 points.
As a reminder, the UNT in Kazakhstan began on January 13 and lasted until February 10. Approximately 167,000 people applied to participate.
Following this, the National Testing Center published the initial results. At that time, it was reported that 71 results were annulled due to attempts to bring in prohibited items, such as smartphones and cheat sheets, and violations of testing rules. By the second week, it was reported that the results of 111 individuals were annulled. This number later increased to 150 individuals.
Additionally, the Ministry of Science warned that after the completion of UNT-2025, an analysis of video recordings will be conducted until October 31 of that calendar year.
Furthermore, it was announced back in May of last year that starting in 2025, the format of the UNT in Kazakhstan will change again. At that time, the Minister of Science and Higher Education stated that the format would allow for the exam to be taken "in a convenient mode."
