“By the decree of the head of state, Nagaspaev Yersaiyn Kairgazievich has been appointed as the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement reads.
Nagaspaev was born in 1980 in Karaganda. He graduated from Karaganda State University named after Buketov, where he studied International Economic Relations.
Throughout his career, Nagaspaev has held leadership positions at the RGP “Aktau International Trade Port,” the Prime Minister's Office, and LLP “Novostroy Astana.” He also served as the akim of Shakhtinsk and as the deputy akim of the city of Astana.
Since 2022, he has been acting as the managing director for new projects at JSC “NC “KTZ.”
Earlier, “Kursiv” Kanat Sharlapayev lost his position as Minister of Industry but became an assistant to the President of Kazakhstan. The former head of the “Baiterek” holding was appointed head of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan in September 2023.
