AI streamlines essential processes within government agencies.

The implementation of artificial intelligence in government agencies in Kazakhstan will enable the automation of document creation, assignment of tasks, and oversight of task completion, reports Kazpravda.kz, citing UKIMET.

In Kazakhstan, a pilot implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) is being launched in government agencies based on the digital projects E-Zanama and Cloud Document Management (CDM). This was announced by Baizhan Kanafin, the CEO of the Kazakh cloud platform Documentolog, at a government meeting.

AI will assist the government apparatus in automating key processes:

  • Document creation – eliminating duplicate work, automatically generating texts based on previously approved documents.
  • Identifying responsible performers – analyzing the content of documents and assigning the most suitable employee.
  • Monitoring the execution of tasks – AI will be able to analyze task completion, provide recommendations, and even respond to voice commands.

As part of the E-Zanama project, 30 draft laws have already been created in digital format. The digitalization of legislative activities has significantly shortened approval timelines, simplified collaboration, and ensured transparency throughout the process.

The project is being implemented on the basis of Cloud Document Management (CDM), which has replaced the outdated Lotus Notes system in all central and local government agencies. Among other key initiatives are E-Apostille (digitalization of apostille services), Continuous Task Monitoring (enhancing transparency in task execution), and the introduction of artificial intelligence for automating document management. Digital solutions make government management more efficient and transparent.
