Kazakh fighter Ilyas Khamzin has successfully completed the weigh-in procedure ahead of his second match in the American league Karate Combat, reports Sports.kz.

Khamzin's opponent will be American fighter Dwight Grant, who previously competed in the UFC. Before the fight, Ilyas weighed in at 84 kilograms, staying within the designated limit.

The match between Ilyas Khamzin and Dwight Grant is scheduled to take place on the morning of March 1 in Denver (USA, Colorado) as part of the Karate Combat 53 tournament. It’s worth noting that the Kazakh fighter’s debut in this league occurred a month ago and did not go well for him: Khamzin was disqualified for illegal strikes in his bout against Brazilian Lucas Martins (22-7).
