Kazakhstan and Austria are strengthening their partnership ties.

The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Austria have signed intergovernmental agreements to exempt holders of diplomatic passports from visa requirements and to facilitate the readmission of individuals residing unlawfully, as reported by DKnews.kz.

The documents were signed on the Kazakh side by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Sadenov, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alibek Bakayev. From the Austrian side, the Ambassador of Austria to Kazakhstan, Andrea Bacher, participated in the ceremony.

The agreements reached expand the legal framework between Kazakhstan and Austria, promote the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, simplify official visits, and enhance collaboration in the field of migration policy.

This step reflects the high level of trust between the states and their readiness for further development of partnership relations in political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
