Kazakhstan and ICAO: a fresh impetus for judicial reforms.

The head of state met with Pamela Harris, the president of the International Association for Court Administration (IACA), as reported by DKnews.kz.

Welcoming Pamela Harris, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated her on her election to a significant position and expressed confidence that her experience would provide new momentum for the organization's activities.

The head of state emphasized that ensuring the rule of law and reforming the judicial system play a crucial role in building a legal state.

For her part, the head of IACA praised the legal reforms being implemented in our country and expressed readiness to continue collaboration. According to her, the separation of functions between the Judicial Administration and the Supreme Court is one of the most effective solutions in global practice. Pamela Harris noted that the Association aims to strengthen ties with Kazakhstan and shared insights about the active participation of representatives from the national judicial administration in IACA's work.

During the conversation, key aspects of the justice system reform were discussed. Particular attention was given to enhancing cooperation between judicial bodies, the prospects of integrating digital solutions, and the use of artificial intelligence in legal proceedings.
