According to the information media portal of the department, the woman is serving a sentence for the theft of gold jewelry worth 35 million tenge. The court has sentenced her to 5 years in prison.

During a conversation with the institution's staff, she shared that she has two sons: the elder is 18 years old, and the younger is 11. She divorced her ex-husband seven years ago.

Today, she registered her marriage with her beloved.

"We met three years ago at the market. For a year, he observed me, and then he proposed that we live together. When I was imprisoned, I thought that was the end of our relationship, but I was pleasantly surprised when he came for a date for the first time. On that same day, he suggested we register our marriage," the woman shared.

Administration of the institution attended the marriage ceremony. The deputy head of the colony, Anar Sabieva, congratulated the newlyweds on starting their new family and wished them domestic happiness.

It was previously reported that a resident of Almaty met a man and developed a close relationship with him. The couple intended to get married, but the girl ended up in prison. The beloved did not turn away; on the contrary, he proposed marriage. The man traveled to Pavlodar to be with the girl, even though they had only known each other for three months before the court's verdict.

Additionally, one of the inmates of the "Black Berkut" colony also got married. Psychologists at the institution stated that such positive changes would benefit the man.
