The website of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) praised the victory of Kazakh boxer Bekzad Nurdaulatov over Uzbek Akmaljon Isroilov in the Round of 16 at the "Strandja Cup - 2025 in Sofia (Bulgaria)," which is also referred to as a small world championship, reports Sports.kz.

Nurdaulatov knocked Isroilov out in the first round, after which the referee stopped the bout.

“Former world champion from Kazakhstan Bekzad Nurdaulatov made a stunning return to the ring, shocking the youth world champion from Uzbekistan, Akmaljon Isroilov, in the first round, which marked the end of their preliminary fight in the first heavyweight division (86 kg),” writes ASBC.

It is worth noting that Bekzad Nurdaulatov is the 2019 world champion in Yekaterinburg (Russia) and a participant in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
