Thirteen athletes will battle for a place in the finals as part of the women's national team of Kazakhstan: Aigerim Satybayeva (48 kg), Elyanur Turganova (50 kg), Zhansaya Rakhymberdy (52 kg), Zhazira Urakbaeva (52 kg), Anel Sakyshe (54 kg), Symbat Aliaskar (54 kg), Aydana Zabynbekova (57 kg), Rimma Volosenko (60 kg), Laura Esengeldy (63 kg), Gauhar Shaibekova (66 kg), Aziza Isina (70 kg), Shugyla Nalibai (75 kg), and Lyazzat Kungybaeva (81+ kg).
Initially, the Kazakh women's team had 22 athletes registered for this tournament — those who did not make it to the semifinals include Akbota Bolat (48 kg), Gulnar Turapbai (50 kg), Elina Bazarova (54 kg), Ulzhan Sarsenbek (57 kg), Anar Tursynbek (60 kg), Aruzhan Zhanabaeva (63 kg), Uldana Taubai (66 kg), Anastasia Bayazitova (75 kg), and Zhibek Zharaskyzy (81 kg).
