Swimming season in Konayev: a new beach will welcome visitors for relaxation.

The beach area stretches for 1 kilometer. It features small architectural forms, comfortable benches, tents, food courts, modern structures, commercial zones, sanitary facilities, and photo zones. The new beach is located next to beach No. 5, which was renovated and opened to visitors last year. It is expected to commence operations in the current swimming season.

"In addition, work is underway to improve beaches No. 6 and No. 7, funded by JSC 'Қонаев СПК'. Last year, construction began on a large-scale investment project at beach No. 8 – a modern amusement park will be established here," said Timur Akmurzaev, head of the Housing and Utilities Department.

It is important to note that entry to the city beaches remains free – visitors only need to pay for parking.

Overall, there are more than 140 tourist facilities operating in Konaev, employing over 1,500 people. In recent years, four major investment projects have been implemented, creating 150 new jobs. Last year, the Kapshagay Reservoir welcomed a record 1.5 million vacationers.
