A week ago, the main fights of the UFC 315 tournament were officially announced, which will take place on the night of May 11 in Montreal (Canada), according to Sports.kz citing Vringe.com.

The welterweight champion (up to 77.1 kg) Belal Muhammad (24-3) will defend his title for the first time against Australian Jack Della Maddalena (17-2), while the champion in the women’s flyweight division (up to 56.7 kg) Valentina Shevchenko (24-4-1) from Kyrgyzstan will face French contender Manon Fioro (12-1).

Today, the first press conference for the headliners took place, followed immediately by the debut stare-downs between Shevchenko and Fioro, as well as Muhammad and Della Maddalena.

Initially, it was planned that Muhammad would compete against Kazakhstan's Shavkat Rakhmonov in his next fight; however, he decided to take a break to fully recover from injuries. As a result, the Palestinian-American will face Australian Jack Della Maddalena.
