Kazakh boxer Samataly Toltayev (4-0, 1 KO) participated in a professional boxing evening in Aktau, as reported by Sports.kz.
Toltayev faced Thai boxer Saharat Taehirun (9-3, 5 KOs). The match took place in the lightweight category and was scheduled for six rounds, but it did not go the full distance: the Kazakh fighter won by knockout.
As a result, Samataly Toltayev achieved his fifth victory in his professional career, while Saharat Taehirun suffered his fourth defeat. It is worth noting that two years ago, Toltayev, while competing as an amateur, tested positive for doping—his sample revealed the presence of the banned anabolic steroid oral turinabol. Consequently, the boxer was suspended until March 31, 2026, and removed from the Kazakhstan national team.
