The secret to Khamzat Chimaev's success in the UFC has been revealed.

British fighter and former UFC champion Michael Bisping commented on the success of undefeated Russian fighter Hamzat Chimaev, as reported by Sports.kz referencing Sport24.ru.

Chimaev has competed in 14 MMA fights and achieved 14 victories, eight of which were under the UFC banner.

“If you look at Hamzat Chimaev's success, it’s a combination of many factors. Of course, it’s the hours spent on the mat, determination, hard work, and strength. This guy is strong. It doesn’t matter how technical you are. If you can take people down and control them, you will be successful,” Bisping stated on his YouTube channel.

Hamzat Chimaev is currently ranked third in the UFC middleweight rankings.
