In his parliamentary inquiry, he emphasized the growing importance of skills related to operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other high-tech tools, such as drones and more. The senator believes this is due to the fact that combat methods are evolving daily across the globe.
“President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that modern wars are fought not only on the battlefield but also in cyberspace, the information sphere, and the economy. In these circumstances, it is essential to prepare military personnel capable of effectively utilizing drones and advanced technologies,” stated Kydyrali.
He also pointed out issues within the military education system, including outdated curricula and a lack of contemporary literature.
“To train competitive specialists, it is necessary not only to update educational materials but also to implement practical courses on the use of drones, digital control systems, and other modern military technologies,” the deputy concluded.
