In the corridors of the Senate, Deputy Defense Minister Sultan Kamaletdinov stated that this year, 2.5 billion tenge will be allocated from the state budget for the preparation and conduct of the parade. “This is a political issue that will be perceived positively by our society. Kazakhs are preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It will attract attention not only from Kazakhs but also from the global community,” the senator replied.
He emphasized that he believes the decision to hold the parade is absolutely correct and sees no need to reduce expenses, despite calls for budgetary savings.
