Срочник вернулся с инвалидностью: как продвигается расследование?

"Regarding the serious injury of serviceman Mukhtar Yerbayev - a comprehensive set of operational and investigative measures is currently being conducted, and expert examinations have been appointed. Upon receiving the conclusions of the expert evaluations and the results of the investigation - a decision will be made based on the totality of all collected evidence and factual data.

At this point, we cannot comment on the investigation's results in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code, as the case (editor's note) affects the interests of many individuals. However, the investigation is ongoing, and the case is under special control of the General Prosecutor's Office and the Chief Military Prosecutor. The National Guard is in contact with the parents," - stated Maksat Kaziyev.

According to him, there are currently no specific suspects in the case.

"There is a certain circle of individuals being investigated," - he indicated.

Recall that last summer, information emerged online about a young man who went to serve in the army and returned disabled. The National Guard's press service commented on the situation, stating that several months after the start of his service, he was hospitalized in serious condition and fell into a coma.

The National Guard clarified that a criminal case has been opened concerning the head injury of Private Mukhtar due to "violation of statutory rules of relations between servicemen, causing serious harm to health."

It was reported that the serviceman was discharged home after completing rehabilitation treatment at the insistence of his parents. At the same time, the Ministry of Health's medical institution, together with the military medical administration of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provided assistance in processing his disability application.

Later, an official statement was released by the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan. The agency then reported that the Ministry of Defense does not oversee the safety of military service in such law enforcement agencies as the Border Service of the National Security Committee, the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Protection Service, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Ensuring the life and health of servicemen is a top priority for commanders, the agency added.

Subsequently, the Minister of Health commented on the situation with the soldier and explained what assistance is being provided to the family of the injured by her department.

Furthermore, it was reported that the injured conscript requires treatment abroad, but his condition did not allow for his evacuation at that time. Minister Akmaral Alnazarova, according to the soldier's father, promised to address the issue with air medical evacuation.
