A couple had a public argument in Aktau and ended up involving the police (video).

According to the Akтау police department, the incident occurred on the night of February 22 in microdistrict 12. The video captures the moment when a man raises his hand at his wife during an argument.

The police have identified the violators of public order.

Once at the police station, the couple explained that there had been a misunderstanding between them. They were unaware that the video would leak online.

"I have no complaints against my husband," the woman stated at the police station.

It is worth noting that earlier in the Abai region, a local woman who suffered from abuse by her intoxicated ex-husband requested the court to impose strict punishment on him. He was sentenced to 25 days of detention.
