“Issues regarding the modernization of the military and the improvement of military infrastructure have been discussed. The head of state has issued a number of specific directives for the further development of the Armed Forces,” — the message states.
In September of last year, the Security Council addressed matters related to strengthening the country's defense. Following the meeting, Tokayev provided several instructions to the government and relevant state agencies. At that time, it was emphasized in Akorda that these measures aim to enhance the state's military organization, develop the defense industry, and strengthen national security.
It is worth noting that the president serves as the chairman of the Council. Its members include heads of legislative and executive bodies, ministers of defense, internal affairs, and foreign affairs, as well as other key figures.
