The young woman reported that her father is in serious condition serving his sentence in a solitary cell at facility No. 66 in Petropavlovsk.

"At the moment, my father is seriously ill. He has liver cancer and cirrhosis. We have reached out to many authorities, but in response, we only received standard replies." - the convict's daughter stated.

The girl appealed to the Attorney General of Kazakhstan for assistance.

The press service of the Department of Criminal Execution in North Kazakhstan provided information about Serik Dzhamanaev's condition.

"This inmate is receiving the necessary treatment; since the beginning of the year, he has consulted specialists remotely three times, and two times, specialists visited the facility to provide consultations and medical assistance." - the agency reported.

The press service noted that the facility operates round-the-clock monitoring.

"The health status of the inmate is under the supervision of medical personnel," - emphasized the Department of Criminal Execution in North Kazakhstan.

Recall that in early 2021, a court in Almaty sentenced the crime boss Serik Dzhamanaev, who was accused of several articles of the Criminal Code. The man was sentenced to 19 years in prison with confiscation of property.

"The court concluded that due to his life position, this individual does not wish to lead a law-abiding life in freedom. After being released from prison, he created an organized criminal group within a month." - the judge reported.

Serik Dzhamanaev was detained in his home in the Almaty region back in early 2020. During a special operation, the KNB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs disrupted the activities of the organized criminal group led by the notorious "thief in law."
