A unique boxer from Kazakhstan has won the gold medal at the Minor World Championship.

In the final match of the 67-kilogram weight category, Sabyrkhan faced off against Azerbaijani fighter Zaur Gakhramanov. The bout concluded with Torakhan Sabyrkhan winning by a split decision from the judges. As a result, he claimed the gold medal, while his opponent finished the tournament with a silver medal.

Kazakh boxer Torekhan Sabyrkhan competed in the final of the "Strandja Cup" in Sofia (Bulgaria), also known as the small world championship in boxing, reports Sports.kz.

In the final match in the 67-kilogram weight category, Sabyrkhan faced Azerbaijani boxer Zaur Gahramanov. This bout ended with Torekhan Sabyrkhan winning by split decision. As a result, he claimed the gold medal, while his opponent finished the tournament as the silver medalist.

Additionally, Torekhan Sabyrkhan is the first-ever four-time champion of Asia among youth and juniors. It’s worth noting that Torekhan's brother, Mahmud Sabyrkhan, was also set to compete in the "Strandja Cup," but he withdrew before the quarter-finals due to health issues.
