“This year, ADAM plans to establish mass production of machinery. This project will reduce reliance on foreign equipment manufacturers, and warranty and service support will be provided,” reported the Ministry of Agriculture, adding that the products will be supplied to the markets of Central Asia and the CIS.
ADAM produces circular irrigation machines under the SU BEREKE brand. These machines evenly distribute water across fields, resulting in a reduction of water consumption by 30-40%.
The first factory for the production of Kazakh irrigation systems was launched in 2024, producing 30 machines, with some assembled in the East Kazakhstan region. Last year, the enterprise also received the ST-KZ certificate and the EAEU compliance certificate.
The ADAM group of companies is registered in Astana. It is engaged in the production of irrigation machines, breeding of beef cattle, and the operation of engineering networks for buildings and structures. Among its projects are the maintenance of networks at Nazarbayev University, the Kazakh Academic Drama Theater, the Barys Arena sports complex, the Space Center, and other organizations.
The founder of the group is Anuar Kasymov. In mid-2024, he established the company ADAM AGRO QAZAQSTAN. At the beginning of this year, the shareholder told the newspaper “Kazpravda” that he decided to engage in the production of irrigation systems following President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s address in 2019. At that time, the head of state instructed to increase the share of irrigated land to 3 million hectares (currently 1.5 million hectares, with less than a third covered by water-saving technologies). The corporation studied the market and designed the machines in 2021, and in 2023, a loan was obtained and serial production began.
