Yesterday morning in Taraz, all emergency services were put on high alert after an anonymous tip reported bombs at five medical facilities in the city, according to the KTK television channel's website.

As reported by the television channel, explosive devices were searched for in five clinics and hospitals across different areas of the regional center. The presence of so many police officers, firefighters, and canine units on the streets was unprecedented for the residents of Taraz. No bomb threat was confirmed at any of the addresses provided by the anonymous tipster.

Just a week ago, unknown individuals similarly "mined" a college, a school, and a large shopping center, leading to the evacuation of over 2,000 people. The perpetrators have not yet been apprehended.

However, specialists have determined that the messages were sent via a SIM box, which is commonly used by scammers. The owner of the device has already been located in another region.

Currently, the police are piecing together the entire chain of events and are investigating whether the incidents are connected.

"As a result, no explosive devices were found. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated under Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is already the sixth similar incident since the beginning of the year. Most of the messages are sent from other countries," - stated the press service of the regional police department.

It should be noted that according to Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, providing knowingly false information about an act of terrorism can lead to a fine of 5,000 MRP (19.6 million tenge), corrective labor of the same amount, restriction of freedom for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same duration.

Additionally, last year in Astana, a person was convicted for reporting a potential act of terrorism in the building of the Ministry House and at their place of residence. The report was not substantiated.
