A Russian football star has been predicted to become the top scorer of the Kazakhstan Premier League (KPL).

Renowned football commentator Roman Naguchev shared in an interview with Meta-ratings.kz how former forward of "Spartak," "Zenit," and "Lokomotiv" Artem Dzyuba could benefit "Kairat", as reported by Sports.kz.

“Dzyuba plays impressively even without a pre-season, just like he did in the RPL. He didn’t participate in summer training camps with anyone, but as soon as he joined the league in the autumn, he quickly made an impact. He is a very experienced player who knows his capabilities. In Kazakhstan, Artem will compete for the title of top scorer also because he is ambitious and absolutely hates losing.

He is not interested in second places—he holds himself and his teammates to high standards. Wherever Dzyuba goes, he always makes an impact: everyone pays attention to him and strives to match his level, which applies to club work as well, not just the team itself. For the time being, I see only positives in this transfer,” said Naguchev.

As a reminder, Artem Dzyuba will turn 37 in August. Previously, the "Akron" player has represented Moscow's "Spartak" and "Lokomotiv," St. Petersburg's "Zenit," as well as the Russian national team, with which he reached the quarter-finals of the 2018 World Cup.
