The sanatorium is managed by the state procurement and communal property management. An auction with a starting price of 475,459,222 tenge will be held based on an ascending bid principle. Bidding will commence on February 4.
“Akzhayyk” was opened in 1985. The sanatorium is located 45 kilometers from Uralsk. “Uralskaya Nedelya” wrote that the akimat had previously attempted to sell its share. In 2017, the auction failed due to a lack of buyers. There were plans to hold an auction in 2024 as well, but it could not be completed in time due to delays in the property's evaluation.
The founders of the sanatorium are the state procurement management of ZKO, the Republican Union of Trade Unions “Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” and Nursulu Erezhepova.
In addition to the sanatorium, the akimat is transferring the Medical College and the LLP “Economic Management of the ZKO Akimat Office” into private hands.
“Kursiv” reported on the fate of the “Rakhmanovskie Klyuchi” sanatorium in VKO, which, in contrast, was handed over to state ownership. More details are in the article about whether “Rakhmanovskie Klyuchi” will be sold to foreigners.
Last year, residents of southern Kazakhstan expressed concerns about the transfer of the popular sanatorium “Saryagash” into private ownership. More details can be found here.
