Anders Breivik appeared in court with the letter Z shaved into his head — a symbol of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. However, Norwegian media emphasize that the exact meaning of the terrorist's message remains unknown to anyone. He also held a poster expressing support for China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea (Support CH / RU / IR / NK — ed. note).

The Norwegian prosecution insists that Breivik has not changed his ideological and political views, which raises the possibility of reoffending. He submitted a request for parole in June 2024, marking yet another attempt by the terrorist to be released from prison.
His last request for early release was in 2022, but the court denied it. At that time, Anders Breivik also brought a poster with nationalist slogans to the court and raised his hand in a Nazi salute.
In July 2011, Breivik detonated a bomb in the government quarter of Oslo and subsequently shot 77 people at a youth camp on the island of Utøya. Over 150 individuals were injured in the attack. During the trial, Breivik confessed to the crimes but refused to express remorse.
