Zelensky stated that there is still a long way to go before the war with Russia comes to an end.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the road to ending the war with Russia will be a lengthy one. He made this remark to reporters at Stansted Airport in London, according to Sky News.

According to the President of Ukraine, the agreement to end the war must be "fair," "just," and "stable."

"It should include very specific, clear security guarantees," he added.

At the same time, the president emphasized that his country "will never recognize the territories occupied by Russia as Russian." He referred to these lands as temporary occupations.

On Friday, February 28, Zelensky was supposed to sign an agreement with the United States regarding access to Ukrainian minerals. However, prior to that, Zelensky, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Vice President J.D. Vance got into a dispute. Following that, Zelensky headed to a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London.

"I do not want to talk about the details until the signatures are on the paper… there is too much to consider. Today, the partners agreed to continue applying pressure," Zelensky responded to journalists before his flight home.
