Icy conditions, rain, and snow: a storm warning has been issued for nearly all of Kazakhstan.

On January 30, in the Pavlodar region , snow is expected, with blizzards occurring in the west, south, and east of the region. Wind gusts are anticipated to reach 15-20 meters per second.

In the Zhambyl region , snow is expected at night, with snow and rain during the day. Fog, ice, and low-level blizzards are forecasted in the north, south, and mountainous areas of the region, with winds up to 15-20 meters per second.

In the east and south of the Kostanay region , snow and blizzards are expected. Fog is anticipated in the west and north of the region, while ice is expected in the south. Fog and ice are also forecasted in the east, south, and center of the Kyzylorda region . In Kyzylorda city, fog and ice are expected intermittently on January 30.

At night, strong snow, rain, fog, and ice are expected in the east, center, and mountainous areas of the Zhetysu region .

In the North Kazakhstan region , snow is expected, with low-level blizzards and ice in the south and east of the region. Fog is forecasted in the west. Wind gusts of 15-20 meters per second are expected. Ice and fog will persist in the north and west of the Aktobe region .

In Astana , intermittent snow and low-level blizzards are expected on January 30. In Almaty , ice is forecasted intermittently, with fog in the evening.

At night in the east of the Atyrau region , ice is expected, while fog is forecasted in the west, north, and south of the region. In the mountainous areas of the Almaty region , heavy snow is expected intermittently, with ice and fog in the north, south, and mountainous areas of the region.

In the East Kazakhstan region , snow and blizzards are expected, with winds forecasted at 15-20 meters per second. Fog is expected in the west, north, and south of the West Kazakhstan region .

In the Abai region , snow and blizzards are expected, with heavy snow during the day in the south and east, and gusts of up to 23 meters per second.

In the morning and during the day in the north, west, and mountainous and foothill areas of the Turkestan region , rain, snow, and ice are expected. In Shymkent, rain, snow, and ice are anticipated during the day on January 30.

In the Akmolinsk region , snow and blizzards are expected at night, with snow during the day in the south, east, and center of the region, and light snow and blizzards in the west and north.

In the Ulytau region , rain, snow, low-level blizzards, and ice are expected at night. Fog is anticipated in the north of the region.

In the Karaganda region , snow and low-level blizzards are expected at night, with precipitation in the form of rain and snow during the day. Gusts of wind are expected to reach up to 18 meters per second.

It was previously reported that the Akimat of Astana issued a warning to residents due to the weather conditions.

Earlier, meteorologists stated that in the coming days, a northwest cyclone would shape the weather in Kazakhstan, with heavy precipitation and temperatures dropping to -28 degrees Celsius.
