The President – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, listened to a report on the results of the defense ministry's activities for 2024.
The head of state was informed about the state of the army's combat readiness and new approaches to troop training.
Ruslan Zhaksylykov reported on the progress of the state defense order, social and ideological work, as well as the development of military infrastructure.
Following the meeting, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set specific tasks for the minister aimed at enhancing the army's combat potential, further digitizing management processes, developing Special Operations Forces, and strengthening social and ideological work.
