Approximately 50 representatives from government agencies, national companies, and businesses participated in the event from Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic collaboration, transportation and logistics, agriculture, digitalization, and education.
During the meeting, a bilateral discussion was held with the Estonian Minister of Infrastructure, V. Svet. Special attention was focused on enhancing transit capabilities and improving logistics connections between Kazakhstan and Estonia , particularly through the maritime ports of both countries.
Additionally, the Minister of Transport held a series of bilateral meetings with leaders of major Estonian companies such as Eesti Raudtee, Muuga Grain Terminal, Skinnest Group, as well as the ports of Sillamae and Tallinn. The outcomes of these meetings identified promising areas for development with Estonian businesses.
Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed, which outlines specific steps for implementing joint projects in the transport and logistics sector, as well as agreements to strengthen cooperation in the economy, digitalization, education, and other fields. The next commission meeting is scheduled to take place in the city of Astana in 2026.
