Kazakhstan and Turkey have signed a significant military cooperation agreement.

A military cooperation plan between Kazakhstan and Turkey for the year 2025 has been signed in Ankara, according to DKnews.kz.

A delegation from Kazakhstan visited the Republic of Turkey, led by Colonel Olzhas Khusainov, the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Representatives from the defense ministries of Kazakhstan and Turkey held another round of staff negotiations, resulting in the adoption of a military cooperation plan for 2025.

The document was signed on the Kazakh side by Colonel Olzhas Khusainov, head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, and on the Turkish side by his colleague Brigadier General Chatal Erdogan.

According to Colonel O. Khusainov, the bilateral meeting addressed issues of cooperation in military education and science, peacekeeping activities, and combat and medical training. The plan also includes high-level visit exchanges.
