The Cypriot ambassador has commenced their mission in Kazakhstan.

The Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Petros Nakouzis, on the occasion of the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current aspects of Kazakh-Cypriot cooperation in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, including the implementation of agreements previously reached between the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries.

The significance of the mutual opening of embassies in Astana and Nicosia was emphasized. There was a shared opinion that this step would contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation across the entire spectrum of relations.

In conclusion, Minister M. Nurtleu wished the Ambassador of Cyprus success in his activities in Kazakhstan.
