Asel Zhanasova reported that over the past two years, "Kazpost" has achieved net profit and contributed 45 billion tenge in taxes and duties to the budget.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that "Kazpost" has entered the TOP-50 postal operators in the world for the first time, according to the Universal Postal Union's ranking. Due to the optimization of logistics processes, the volume of postal shipments has increased by 26%, including 20 million processed parcels, of which 9 million are international.
The head of state was briefed that during the implementation of the HomePost project, 180 order pickup points were opened in local stores, and by 2025, their number is expected to reach 1,000. In collaboration with YTO Express, investments of 50 million dollars have been attracted for the modernization of postal infrastructure.
The Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazpost" informed the President about the introduction of innovations to enhance service quality. Projects in logistics and transit are being implemented in collaboration with Japan Post, Toshiba, and Cainiao. Additionally, the development of the Keruen service, which provides convenient access to international marketplaces, continues.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with information that in partnership with the Turkish company S-Sistem, the construction of a multimodal warehouse with an area of 15,000 m² is planned at Aktobe Airport.
Following the meeting, the Head of State instructed to continue work on the financial rehabilitation of the company, develop the transit-logistics potential in the field of e-commerce in the CIS countries, and implement digital solutions.
