The world champion in the middleweight division according to the WBO and IBF, Kazakh boxer Janibek Alimkhanuly, has reached out to the holder of the WBC title in the same category, representative of the Dominican Republic, Carlos Adames, as reported by Sports.kz.
“Don’t say you’re a tough fighter. We all know you. I don’t even want to say anything to you because you will never fight me. You couldn’t even beat Shiraz. Everyone saw that you’re not on my level. You’re just temporarily holding the championship belts,” Alimkhanuly wrote on the social network X.
Earlier, the World Boxing Council (WBC) ordered the middleweight champion according to their version, Dominican Carlos Adames, to conduct a mandatory title defense in a match against Kazakhstani Meirim Nursultanov.
