American journalist Michael Woods believes that boxing veterans such as Gennady Golovkin and Vladimir Klitschko can attract significant attention from fans if they decide to return to the ring, despite their age and long absence from fights, as reported by Sports.kz.
“Names are crucial. Even after their peak years, Golovkin and Vladimir are still recognizable names. Therefore, their appeal remains valuable, even if they are 40-45 years old. I feel that Vladimir might be itching to fight more than GGG, but only they truly know,” Woods wrote on social media platform X.
We remind you that promoter Tom Loeffler, who previously collaborated with both athletes, stated that he would support them if they choose to step back into the boxing ring.
