Representative of the Kazakhstan tennis team, Anna Danilina, competed in the final of a major WTA tournament in Merida (Mexico), as reported by Sports.kz referencing Olympic.kz.

She fought for the title in the doubles category.

In the final match, Anna Danilina and Irina Khromacheva (Russia) faced the duo of Katarzyna Piter (Poland) and Mayar Sherif (Egypt).

After three sets, the opponents emerged victorious with a final score of 7:6, 6:5.
