The kickoff time for the Kazakhstan Super Cup match between Kairat and Aktobe has been announced.

The Kazakhstan Super Cup match between “Kairat” and “Aktobe” will take place on February 22 in Astana, starting at 15:00, reports Sports.kz citing the Telegram channel “Gray Cardinal”.

According to the source, this timing was chosen for several reasons.

“The game is scheduled for 15:00. Why 15:00? This was decided for a number of reasons. Firstly, on the same day at 17:00, the hockey club “Barys” will begin their match (broadcast schedule, transportation issues, etc.). Secondly, to accommodate children, teenagers, and young people, so they can return home earlier and not in the dark.

Why Saturday? Indeed, there was an option to hold the game on Sunday at 17:00. However, the interests of fans from Aktobe and Almaty, who are expected to number around 4-5 thousand, were taken into account. Monday is a working day, and many need to return to work/study,” the post states.
