A unique boxer from Kazakhstan was honored at a minor world championship.

Kazakh boxer Torekhan Sabyrkhan received an award for his outstanding performance at the Strandja Cup in Sofia (Bulgaria), which is also referred to as the small world championship in boxing, according to Sports.kz.

Sabyrkhan secured the third prize in the "Best Boxer of the Tournament" category, while the first and second places went to athletes from Bulgaria.

It is worth noting that at the "Strandja Cup," Torekhan Sabyrkhan emerged victorious in the weight category up to 67 kilograms. As for other achievements of the Kazakh in amateur boxing, he is the first-ever four-time Asian champion among youth and juniors.
