In the past three months, the electronic prescription project via the "Social Wallet" has enabled patients to receive medications based on 1.7 million prescriptions through QR codes, involving over 700 medical organizations across the republic.
The use of the "Social Wallet" fosters accessibility and complete transparency in providing citizens with medications, eliminating illegal trade, counterfeiting, and other violations.
Individuals receiving medications under outpatient pharmaceutical care, including those with chronic illnesses, no longer need to spend time scheduling appointments with doctors for paper prescriptions; nurses can now issue the prescribed medication directly without queues.
For the elderly or others unable to utilize the "Social Wallet" government service, a simple identification through Face-ID and web cameras at the clinic is sufficient, after which the necessary medications will also be handed directly to the patient.
The electronic medication issuance project has been scaled throughout the republic, reaching 1.7 million people receiving medications as part of free outpatient pharmaceutical care.
