Kazakhstan's revenue from IT exports has surpassed $470 million in just nine months.

However, impressive figures are anticipated for the entire year of 2024 as well.

Kazakhstan's export of IT services has surpassed $470 million. In the first nine months of 2024, the country exported IT services worth $471 million. This was announced during a government meeting by the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Jaslan Madiyev, as reported by Kazpravda.kz citing the government press service.

According to him, this figure is 26% higher than the same period in 2023.

However, impressive numbers are also expected for the entire year of 2024. The agency forecasts that the total export of IT services may reach around $700 million.

“Astana Hub plays a key role in promoting Kazakhstan's IT exports. The number of residents has exceeded 1,500 companies, including 400 international ones. Their total revenue amounted to 620 billion tenge in 2024. At the same time, export income reached 227 billion tenge, which is approximately $479 million. The export geography of Astana Hub residents covers over 90 countries. In addition to Astana Hub residents, GovTech products from JSC 'National Information Technologies' have also entered the export market for the first time,” the minister noted.

Among these solutions are the Smart Data Ukimet platform, Smart Bridge, and the EPIR website builder, he added.
